Santa baby.

Today we had our squadron's kids Christmas party on base - and Santa made his arrival on a fire truck! Anthony was WAY past his naptime when Santa arrived and I was afraid that sitting on Santa's lap would not go smoothly. Luckily, I was wrong! He loved it and sat there for a long time....he didn't even make a peep! He probably asked Santa for a bib since his Mom obviously didn't have one on him - hence the drool all over his sweatshirt! The weather has also changed here and it was maybe in the lower 50's today with a wind chill - much better weather for December than the upper 70's/80s like it has been! We leave for MD on the 19th. We are driving 220 miles to New Orleans and getting a direct flight to Dulles from there (gotta love frequent flier miles!). Wish us luck with not only the flight, but the 3 hour car ride to the airport!
