Balboa Park

Today, Anthony and I spent the afternoon in Balboa Park. It's located very close to our house and is a park with tons of different museums, exhibits, parks, etc. We decided to check out the San Diego Model Railroad Museum. Let's just say, Anthony was in toddler paradise. The men who run it are all volunteers and most of them were former military. I think they took a liking to Anthony and I because they allowed us behind the glass to let Anthony play and touch the trains. He was ecstatic to say the least. After that, we took a stroll through the Japanese Friendship Garden. It was beautiful and made me reminisce a lot about our time in the Far East. I loved checking out the cherry blossoms and sharing that with Anthony!
